1. What is your training/instructing style:
When I teach yoga, I stay energized but create a calming energy for my client. Yoga is all about breath and allowing it to flow naturally. In my sessions, I love to flow through postures. We go through a certain sequence, slow to begin, master the alignment and then flow though the sequence1-2 times. This allows the client to get out of their head and eventually the breath guides the postures.
2. Your favorite motivational quote:
"nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished." -Laotzu
This applies to yoga 100%. Why hurry through your yoga class. You are there for a full 60min, really allow yourself to soak up each moment.
3. Your favorite workout and music and why:
Right now my favorite type of yoga is Yoga Sculpt (Yoga with weights) I LOVE this! You get the length and benefits from yoga as well as a muscle/body sculpting and toning workout. (And adding a few extra squats never hurts :) )
For music, I love to sculpt to anything with a good beat. Usually hip hop or rap. Always Beyonce or my boyfriend's music.(Tate Tucker)
4. What makes me human? (i.e. a guilty pleasure, a secret, maybe something you like to do that's 'un-trainer-like'):
I have a HUGE weak spot for eating chocolate. It is actually quite scary how much chocolate I can eat...
