A Yoga Squat
It's the greatest exercise for lower back pain and it opens up your hip flexors after sitting all day. Try doing it a few times a day and you'll notice your lower back and hips will start feeling less tight and you'll be more mobile!
1. Start standing with the feet a little wider than hips distance apart.
2. Breathe in deeply. As you exhale, wiggle or shimmy your way down to a squat.
3. Try to bring your hips as close to the ground as possible while keeping your chest lifted tall.
4. The elbows may press into the thighs. Hold as long as you can up to 5 minutes!
Do it after a long drive, mid-day, before bed, or upon waking.
It is the simplest move for a load of benefits!
