My Secret & Favorite Health/Fitness Tips:

Take cold shower every day. Drink plenty of water. Meditate. Be conscious about your food choices. Smile. Move your body. Do one act of random kindness.

When I'm Working With Someone New:

I love to meet new people. First, I carefully listen to what they say and observe how their body moves. Anyone can dictate a program; but, it’s the details that help me develop a strategy to reach clients’  goals and that help me to come up with a healthy plan that changes lifestyles. 

My Favorite Snack:

I love to make my own snacks. I am obsessed with dark chocolate. My favorite snack is raw dark chocolate with cayenne pepper.

What's Unique About Working Out With Me: 

My teaching is based on focussed principles of Hatha and Vinyasa flow yoga- breathing, inversions and core work with special attention to alignment and meditation.

Three major characteristics of my sessions: 

  • # 1 Attention to fundamentals. 

The success of any project is fundamentals and principles. Whether you are practicing yoga, changing your diet or learning new musical instrument, get back to basics.

  • #2 Goal oriented practice with intention to stay present. 

The concept of achieving consciousness is practiced not learned. Together we will set goals and produce results.

My Background in Health & Fitness:

By the age of 25, I had never exercised. I ate without care or caution. I thought it was normal to have pain in the back, neck, and wrists as I got older. I didn't have energy to handle my day to day tasks. I was tired of being angry, overweight, unfocused and decided to make change.

I changed my diet completely and began studying yoga. I lost 35 lb., gained strength and became more flexible. My energy increased and so did my mental acuity. My transformation led me to my life passion - to inspire people and help them to be healthy, happy and vibrant.

Now I am certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) by Yoga Tree Studio, San Francisco. Recently, I have relocated to Los Angeles where I am developing a dedicated yoga practice, promoting an active lifestyle which includes gratifying foods and meditation. 

 Special Injuries I Will Help With:

Again, this is just about attention to the body and it’s mechanics.  With knowledge of physiology and a willing spirit, I have been able to work heal many common injuries.The body is amazing and quite capable of healing itself. 

Yoga helped me to repair an 8 year old shoulder injury. My practice initiated healing from a snowboard injury wherein I could not rotate my left ankle for 2 years.

A Little More About Vlad:

Originally I am from Belarus. At the age of 21, I moved to San Francisco to pursue a business career. However, right before sending the application to HAAS School of Business, UC Berkeley, I decided to change the direction of my journey and devote my life to music and yoga.

In April 2015, I was named one of the Top 10 Entrepreneurs under 30 years old by Aser.by in Belarus.
